Walter A. Maier
Rev. Walter Arthur Maier (1893 — 1950) was an LCMS pastor, theologian, editor, prolific writer, public speaker, and radio personality. He served as the editor of the Walther League Messenger, helped establish KFUO Radio, and served as the first speaker of the Lutheran Hour. He was a frequent contributor to the Walther League Messenger where he wrote with strength and conviction on many practical and spiritual issues of the day. He authored many books, including For Better, Not for Worse: A Manual of Christian Matrimony.
